Change-of-mind returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a change-of-mind return.

For a change-of-mind return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, with tags and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or other proof of purchase. These conditions apply to change-of-mind returns only; they do not limit your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods under the Australian Consumer Law.

Before returning an item, email support@libernovo.au to obtain a return authorisation (RMA) and the designated return address. Customers are responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns. Please do not send an item to our business address without return instructions.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us if an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect. Provide your order details, a description of the problem and, where helpful, photographs or video so we can assess the issue and explain the next steps. Your rights for these issues are not limited to the 30-day change-of-mind return period, and original packaging is not a condition of a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

We will notify you after we receive and inspect a returned item and confirm the outcome of your request. If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to make the funds available.

Warranty coverage

LiberNovo ergonomic chairs purchased through libernovo.au have the following limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use:

  • Chair frame, excluding electronic components: 6 years.
  • Electronic components, including the battery, actuator and related wiring: 2 years.

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase shown on your proof of purchase. This chair warranty does not mean that every accessory has the same coverage. For accessories, refer to the information supplied with the product or email us with your order details.

For a covered defect, we will arrange repair or replacement of the affected part. Where an eligible modular part can be replaced, we may provide the replacement part and installation guidance. Any remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law remains available.

What the additional warranty does not cover

The additional limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, neglect, failure to follow assembly or care instructions, unauthorised modifications or repairs, extreme environmental conditions or natural disasters. These exclusions apply to the additional warranty only and do not remove any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Email support@libernovo.au or use our Contact Us form.
  2. Provide your order number or other proof of purchase, product model, serial number (SN), a description of the fault and relevant photographs or video. If you cannot locate the SN, contact us by email for assistance.
  3. We will assess the information and explain the repair, replacement or other applicable remedy, including any return or collection arrangements.

Warranty shipping and claim expenses in Australia

For an approved warranty defect, replacement parts and their standard delivery within Australia are provided at no charge.

Australian Consumer Law

The benefits under our warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantee rights may continue after the stated warranty period.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
